AGM – 16th May

Alison has a list of people to invite and will write to Mark Havler to see if he can give a talk after the business part of the meeting. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served. Andrew will give an update on the progress of the church hall.

Caroline will ask Richard if he could do a flyer for the meeting. If done soon, it could be delivered with the Church Easter cards.

SUMMER SHOW

THE NEWSLETTER

The newsletter is being printed and should be delivered within the week

PARISH COUNCIL

The AGM of the Parish Council will be held on 14th March at Jacob’s Well. Everyone welcome. It is not yet known who is willing to stand again as a Parish Councillor.

AOB

There was a general discussion on recycling and fly tipping.

It is possible that a car park might be built at the side of the school.

The Church Room is being rented out and used as office space by the Diocesan Development Team.

It is important that everyone signs the petition for the future of all Surrey hospitals.

Ann Knight has set up a village website and it was suggested that the minutes of the WSVA could be included. It was agreed that the financial accounts should be put on the website after they have been distributed at the AGM as all members of the village are entitled to see the accounts.

The meeting finished at 8.45pm.

The next meeting will be on Tuesday, 10th April in the Church Room.

Please try to attend.

Andrew and Rod gave their apologies in advance.
