MATTERS ARISING

Ann Knight has expressed an interest in becoming the editor of the Newsletter. For the time being, any news items should be put in the Parish Newsletter which will be delivered at the same time as the Normandy Directory.

The suggested date for the WSVA AGM is now Wednesday, 14th May.

PARISH COUNCIL

There was a discussion on the proposal of a community car park by the school in Wood Street.

AOB

On 4th January, Sister Susan Bloomfield will be moving into St. Alban's House with her hearing assisted dog, Heidi. She is Chaplain to the Deaf Community in the Guildford Diocese.

Janet has agreed to represent the WSVA at the steering committee meetings for the Summer Show.

Richard suggested the Association send a cheque for £690 to the Horticultural Society as its contribution towards the cost of the shared amenities at the Village Show. This figure is in line with previous payments and was agreed by the committee. He also suggested that the new financial account for the Village Show should be a second (sub-account ) for the Association otherwise it would effectively become an entirely new entity.

The business part of the meeting finished at 9.25pm

There is no meeting in January.

The next meeting will be on Tuesday, 12th February at 8pm in the Church.
