The
minutes of the previous meeting were read, approved and signed.
The idea of running a car boot was discussed at length and finally it was agreed to review the idea after the Village Show, with the possibility of holding one next year.
Due to an oversight, the
donkeys have not been booked for this year and Vivien will discuss with Bob the
procedure for booking them next year. It was suggested that Steadman’s Nursery
could be asked if they have horses available.
A shredder, which was given
by Guildford Borough Council to the Horticultural Society, can be hired at any
time from David Hypher or Martin Barker for an annual payment of £10. More
details can be found on the Wood Street Village website.
A planning application has
been received for Green Lane to be given vehicular access.
The school has got a healthy
number for its intake next year, including the pre-school.
