WSVA  MEETING
15^th April 2008

The minutes of the previous meeting were read, approved and signed.

AGM-14^th May

Caroline has prepared the minutes from last year’s meeting.

Alison will write letters of invitation.

Mark Havler has agreed to talk about local issues; Bob will remind him the day before the AGM.

Publicity will be through the Church News, Parish Newsletter and posters. Caroline to ask Andrew about a banner.

Richard talked through this year’s accounts which will be presented at the meeting. David Bird will audit the accounts.

Caroline to organise tea and coffee.

NEWSLETTER

Edward Rigg will produce the next newsletter in June before the Village Show.

MAY DAY

Maypole Dancing will take place on Saturday, 3rd May at 12 o’clock on the Green.

The children’s funfair will take place on the weekend of 10^th - 11^th May from 5-9pm.

The planning application for the land behind Roundabout is at the consultation stage.

The Quality Parish Council Award will be presented to the Parish Council on Tuesday, 29^th April at 8pm in the Memorial Hall.

The meeting closed at 9.20 pm.

 

The next meeting will be on Tuesday, 10^th June in the Church. There will be no meeting in May because of the AGM.
